Dr. Avik Khan

Post Doctoral Researcher
 
Dr. Khan joined the Verschuren Centre team in August 2018 as a member of the Agri-Marine group. His work includes development and evaluation of edible antimicrobial films using lobster-shell derived chitin and derivatives.  He is also researching preparation of functional/smart packaging film and involved with the Centre’s biorefinery process optimization.
